Sasha Hoffman is a tech executive and corporate director with 15+ years of experience in the consumer tech, AI, mobility and fintech sectors. She’s seen every part of the journey from 0 to 1, having worked at multiple unicorns and publicly traded companies including Goldman, Uber, Piaggio Group, and more

Sasha began her career as an investment banker in the technology groups of Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers, where she covered Social Media, SaaS, and Semiconductors and worked on IPOs and M&A transactions for such clients as Facebook, Yelp, and SanDisk. She spent the subsequent decade as an operator focused on leadership roles overseeing product, business development, and strategy. She was the VP of Business Development for fintech startup Plastiq, where she joined as one of the first employees and structured deals with major credit card networks, banks, and partners. Post that, she spearheaded a new innovation division for Piaggio Group (makers of Vespa), where as COO she managed a 50-person team that built and launched semi-autonomous robotic vehicles. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led global customer engagement at Uber, where she drove the product, growth, and strategy for the company’s subscriptions and loyalty businesses, executed third-party loyalty partnerships (e.g., Marriott and American Express), and doubled the size of the user base to over 50M members while cutting program costs in half. Over the last 10 years, she has consulted for numerous clients including Dandy, Thrasio, and major luxury brands, helping them launch new product lines, design loyalty programs, and develop strategic and GTM plans.

As a Partner at Remus Capital, she holds seats on private and public boards and splits time for the fund between investing, managing LP relationships, and parachuting into portfolio companies to help with product, strategy, managing opex, and GTM. She’s delivered keynotes at the WSJ Future of Everything Festival, Collision Conference, CES, Phocuswright, and Skift and has been featured in Wired, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, and more. Sasha holds a B.A. in Business Economics and Accounting from UCLA.
