What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
“A ship in harbor is safe – but that is not what ships are built for.” This advice came from my stepfather, Patrick Kenney, and it’s resonated strongly with me as I’ve built a career working with startups. Entrepreneurship, more than other career paths, is all about taking chances outside your comfort zone and chasing your passions and dreams.
Outside of work, where can you be found?
I am a true New Englander; I was raised in Connecticut and captained the varsity NCAA nationally-ranked soccer team twice while attending Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. My family currently lives all across New England: in Connecticut, Maine, Boston, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire – all conveniently within 80 miles of Boston. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I’m an avid sports fan and outdoors enthusiast, and my passions include playing a round of golf, reading on the beach, camping, sailing, and attending soccer games during the warmer New England months in addition to skiing and ice-skating in the colder ones.
